Pastor John understands that he has been given a great responsibility to serve God’s church and to uphold and teach the truth of God’s Word unashamedly. He frequently states that the messenger is not important, the message is. He is grateful for God’s call in ministry but wants everyone to understand this:

“The Gospel is the single most important message in the history of mankind, and as followers of Christ we have all been commanded to expand God’s Kingdom through the unashamed proclamation of the Gospel.”

Through his God-given gift and passion for teaching, equipping God’s church and encouraging the brethren, God has graciously led him to Living Water Bible Church. He brings over 16 years of ministry experience with him as a Worship Leader, Evangelist and Pastor. In addition to the experience he has gained from faithful ministry, Pastor John also took part in the Commissioned Pastor Program through the RCA. However, he firmly believes that no amount of training or experience can trump an obedience to God’s commands and the true call of God on a man’s life in ministry.

Pastor John loves the Word of God and devotes his life to study and obedience, while helping those who God has placed in his care to be confident in the Word and to follow the call of Christ in their lives. He has been blessed with a wife (Stephanie) and five children (Leah, Finn, Julia, Matthew and Hudson).
